William Shepherd

William Shepherd is a proud Upper Cumberland native from Cookeville, Tennessee, and a United States Navy veteran with more than 10 years of experience in operations management within the warehouse and distribution industry. Before joining Sparta Metal Processing, William spent the last three years with Employbridge as a Strategic Account Manager, where he focused on building strong business relationships, supporting workforce development, and helping organizations achieve their operational goals. His extensive background in operations, staffing, and workforce management has provided him with a strong foundation in leadership, employee development, and workplace safety.

As Human Resources Manager and Safety Coordinator, William is committed to fostering a safe, productive, and positive work environment where employees feel valued and have opportunities to grow. He believes that strong leadership starts with investing in people, building relationships, and leading by example.

Outside of work, William is passionate about giving back to his community, particularly through supporting veterans and helping fellow service members transition into civilian careers. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their three children, son-in-law, extended family, and friends. Family, community, and service remain at the heart of everything he does.
