John Dury

John is the President of Sparta Metal Processing and a Partner at Acuity Group. As the primary executive leader at Sparta, he drives the organization's strategic direction, operational excellence, and long term growth. John is responsible for developing and executing the company's overall vision and business strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and positioning the organization for sustainable competitive advantage in a dynamic industrial landscape.

Prior to joining Sparta Metal Processing, John spent two years with Sumco Group (an AG Company), where he led business development and procurement efforts within the commercial department. Before that, he spent eight years with the metal reclamation company Versatile Processing Group (VPG), managing global sourcing efforts across the utility, industrial, and post consumer market segments.

John earned his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and his bachelor's degree from the University of Indianapolis, where he was a member of both the baseball and football teams. He currently resides in the Indianapolis area with his wife and four daughters.
